Why BlueLight Is Unlike Any Airline
BlueLight is the world’s only non-profit humanitarian airline founded by Aviation and Humanitarian professionals.. Unlike commercial operators, we exist to serve — not to profit. The cornerstone of our fleet will be a uniquely configured Airbus A340-300 "combi," designed specifically to meet diverse humanitarian needs: passenger transport for humanitarian staff and refugees, a fully-equipped flying hospital, and significant cargo capacity for essential relief supplies, all in a single aircraft.

Our Fleet
At BlueLight, we’ve strategically chosen the Airbus A340 and A321P2F to serve our unique humanitarian mission.
3x Airbus A340-300
The A340’s long-range, high-payload capacity and combi flexibility make it ideal for transporting emergency personnel, medical evacuations, and critical aid to crisis zones worldwide—without reliance on in-demand widebody slots.

3x Airbus A321P2F
(Passenger-to-Freighter)
Complementing this, the A321P2F offers efficient, high-frequency short-haul cargo operations with unmatched fuel economy and versatility. Together, they form a balanced, purpose-built fleet capable of rapid, global humanitarian response.

UAV Drone
Our flagship Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) developed by OBERION Group represents a transformative step in delivering critical aid to remote and underserved regions.
Powered by regular unleaded fuel for operational flexibility, the UAV offers a 500kg cargo payload, an 800km range at 155km/h, and up to 6 hours of endurance, ensuring access to areas with limited infrastructure. Its compact design, capable of fitting through the cargo doors of our A340, enables seamless deployment to regions where larger aircraft, such as the A340 or A320, cannot operate.
Being unmanned, the UAV is pivotal for aid deliveries across conflict zones, significantly reducing the risk to human lives and aiming for net-zero casualties in cases of armed conflict.
This innovation underscores our commitment to leveraging advanced technology to address logistical challenges and deliver essential support where it is needed most.

Carbon offset & traceability of funds
As part of our commitment to transparency and environmental responsibility, BlueLight has partnered with Verdeo, a leader in impact traceability and carbon offsetting technology. Together, we are developing a tailor-made, real-time dashboard, powered by Verdeo’s proprietary platform, giving all stakeholders full visibility on how each dollar received translates into missions flown, lives saved, critical supplies delivered, and carbon emissions offset. This innovative tool ensures end-to-end accountability, reinforcing our promise to deliver measurable, credible, and transparent humanitarian impact.

Endorsements

“As a dedicated non-profit humanitarian airline, BlueLight's initiative wouldalignwith Switzerland’s commitment to fast and principled humanitarian emergency relief.
By addressing logistical gaps in emergency aid delivery systems, BlueLight envisages timely, cost- efficient and effective support for vulnerable communities.
The SDC therefore considers the foreseen creation of BlueLight Humanitarian Airlines as a potentially relevant addition to the global humanitarian aid infrastructure, providing versatile and flexible aircraft solutions to difficult to reach areas.”
Dominik Stillhart
Deputy Director General Swiss Department for Development and Coorporation and Head of Swiss Humanitarian Aid Unit

Journey From Vision to Flight
Phase1
Europe, Middle-East and Africa base
1x Airbus A340-300
1 x Airbus A320
Our initial combi A340 will be strategically based in Europe, leveraging its ultra-long-range capabilities to seamlessly connect the continents of Europe and Africa.
To complement these operations, we plan to acquire an A320, designed to efficiently handle short-haul routes within each continent.
The A320's versatility ensures operational flexibility, particularly for destinations with runway constraints that may limit A340 access.

Phase 2
North & south America base
1x Airbus A340-300
1 x Airbus A320
Starting in 2030, our second base of operations will be established in North America, strategically positioned to serve as a hub for flight operations across Central and South America.
This base will leverage the region's connectivity to facilitate efficient routes throughout the Americas.
Similar to our European operations, we aim to integrate an A320 into the fleet to complement the A340, ensuring seamless service for shorter routes and destinations with runway limitations, while maintaining operational flexibility and efficiency.

Phase 3
Asia-pacific base
1x Airbus A340-300
1 x Airbus A320
By 2035, our third operational base will be established in the Asia-Pacific region, reflecting our commitment to expanding connectivity across this dynamic and rapidly growing market.
This base will anchor our long-haul operations with the A340, enabling seamless links between key destinations across Asia and beyond.
To support regional connectivity, we plan to deploy an A320, ensuring efficient service to destinations with shorter runways or more localized demand. This strategic expansion underscores our focus on tailored operations to meet diverse regional needs while maintaining global service standards.

Let’s deliver the hope together!
At BlueLight, we believe that access to aid should never depend on profit.
